New office and site setup
Move in on Monday, and have everything work.
A new office means an internet provider, cablers, an electrician, a phone company and someone to set up the meeting room, all needing to line up. When one is late, nobody can work.
We plan and run the IT side of the move, and test it before your staff arrive.
What changes
One team, one plan, one date.
Working on the first morning
Internet, Wi-Fi, desks, printers and phones are tested before your staff walk in, not sorted out in the first week.
One team for the whole fit-out
We coordinate the internet provider, cabling, network, meeting room screens and phones, so you are not managing five trades.
Cabling done once, properly
Data points where the desks actually go, labelled and tested, with a tidy comms cabinet you can find things in.
Room to grow
We plan for the staff you expect next year, so adding people does not mean ripping things out.
Looked after after move-in
When something stops working in the new space, we own it until it is fixed.
What happens
Priced before anything is installed.
- 01
Walk the space
On site or from floor plans, we agree where people, screens and equipment will go.
- 02
Fixed quote
Every item, cable run and date listed, before you commit.
- 03
Build and test
Installed and tested before move-in, often after hours so work is not interrupted.
- 04
Move in
Engineers on site for the first day, then support from there.
Why it matters
Cabling has to be done by a registered cabler.
In Australia, data and phone cabling must be installed by a cabler registered under the ACMA cabling rules. Unregistered work can be unsafe and may not be covered by insurance. We make sure every cable run on your site is done by registered cablers.
Need a network designed rather than a move managed? See infrastructure design. Want Wi-Fi, cameras and doors in one system? See UniFi.
The questions we get asked the most.
- How far ahead should we call you?
- As early as you have a floor plan. Ordering a new business internet connection can take several weeks, and cabling is easiest before the fit-out walls and ceilings go up.
- Can you move our existing equipment?
- Yes. We check what is worth keeping, move it, and only quote new gear where the old will not do the job.
- Do you do the cabling yourselves?
- Cabling is done by registered cablers, either our own people or trusted partners, depending on the location. Either way we manage it and stand behind it.
- Can the move happen without downtime?
- Usually. We build the new site ahead of time and switch over after hours or on a weekend, so staff finish on Friday in the old office and start Monday in the new one.
- Do you work outside Brisbane?
- Yes. We have people and partners in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Albury, and handle fit-outs elsewhere in Australia by arrangement.
