Workflow automation

Get back the hours your team spends retyping data.

Copying details between systems, building the same report every Monday, setting up each new starter by hand. It is slow, and mistakes creep in.

We automate the routine work in the Microsoft 365 you already pay for, and look after it once it is running.

What changes

The routine work runs without anyone.

New starters ready on day one

Account, mailbox, Teams, licences and the right folders are set up from one form, and switched off the same way when someone leaves.

Reports that build themselves

The weekly figures someone pulls together by hand arrive in inboxes on schedule.

No more retyping

Details entered in one system flow into the next, so invoices, jobs and client records stop being copied across by hand.

Approvals that do not stall

Leave, purchases and sign-offs go to the right person in Teams or email, with a reminder if nobody answers.

Someone watching it

Every automation tells us and your contact when it fails, and there is a manual fallback so the work still gets done.

What happens

You see the cost and the time saved before we build.

  1. 01

    Watch the work

We sit with the people doing it and write down how the task really happens.

  2. 02

    Pick what is worth it

We show the hours each task takes and what automating it would cost. You choose.

  3. 03

    Build and test

Built in your own Microsoft 365, mostly with Power Automate, and tested with your team.

  4. 04

    Hand over and support

Written notes, a named owner on your side, and we fix it when something changes.

Why it matters

A leaver left with access is a security problem.

When removing a leaver depends on someone remembering every system, accounts get missed. Automating it means access is removed the same way every time, with a record of when it happened. That is also what auditors and cyber insurers ask to see.

Common questions

The questions we get asked the most.

What should we automate first?
The task that happens most often and needs the least judgement. For most businesses that is setting up new starters and removing leavers, then recurring reports. They follow clear rules and the time saved is easy to measure.
Do we need extra Microsoft licences?
Often not. Plenty of useful automation runs on what your Microsoft 365 plan already includes. Some connections to other systems need a Power Automate Premium licence, and we tell you before we build so the cost is known up front.
What happens when an automation breaks?
It alerts us and your named contact, and there is a written manual fallback so the work still gets done. We own it until it is fixed.
Can you connect our industry software?
Usually, if it can share data with other systems or import and export files on a schedule. If it cannot, we say so rather than building something fragile that breaks at the next update.
Who owns the automation if we leave?
You do. Everything is built in your Microsoft 365, under your accounts, and handed over with notes. Nothing sits in a Real Bytes-only system.

Which task would you hand over first?

Tell us the job your team is sick of doing, and we will tell you whether it is worth automating.
