Labour hire
More hands for the big job, without hiring anyone.
An office move, fifty new laptops or a new site to fit out, and your IT person is already flat out. Hiring for a few weeks of work is slow and risky. We send experienced engineers for as long as the job takes, and stand behind the work.

What changes
The job gets done, and your team keeps working.
Pick one and see what you get.
Extra hands when you need them
An office move, a laptop rollout, a new site fit-out. We send engineers for the days or weeks the job takes, then they go.
- On site or remote
- Scaled up or down as the job moves
People who have done it before
You get engineers who do this work every week for our own clients, not someone found on a job board that morning.
- The same team that runs our help desk
- Documented the way we document for clients
No hiring paperwork
Pay, insurance, super and leave are ours to handle. You get one invoice for the hours worked.
- No contracts of employment
- One invoice
Clear brief, clear finish
We agree what needs doing and how long it should take before anyone starts, and tell you early if that changes.
- Written scope
- Early warning on changes
Someone accountable
If the work is not right, we fix it. You are not left chasing an individual contractor.
- Signed off with you at the end
- Real Bytes stands behind it

Get help your way
Six ways to reach us. Pick whichever suits you.
Helpdesk hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm AEST. On Advantage and above, emergencies get a response within 1 hour and outages within 2, with 24/7 best-effort escalation.
- Call 07 3114 2808
An engineer answers Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm AEST. After hours, weekends and public holidays, Chip, our AI agent, answers on the same number or on 07 3180 0965, logs it and escalates urgent incidents to the on-call engineer.
Call now - Email the helpdesk
Send it to helpdesk@realbytes.com.au and a ticket is logged straight away, with a reference number you can quote.
Email us - Client portal
Log and follow your tickets, see what we are working on and who has it.
Open the portal - Remote support
When an engineer asks to see your screen, start a secure session here. You start it, so nobody sees your screen until you do.
Start a session - Chat in Microsoft Teams
Clients can message Chip, our AI assistant, in Teams to log a request without leaving their desk.

Questions
What people ask before they call.
What kind of work can you help with?
Office moves, laptop and phone rollouts, network and Wi-Fi installs, cabling, Microsoft 365 migrations and extra help desk cover when your own team is short. If it is IT work with a clear start and finish, ask us.
Who actually turns up?
Our own engineers. We do not run a contractor pool. The people we send look after our managed IT clients every week, so they know how a job should be done and documented.
Do we need to be a managed IT client?
No. Many businesses use us for a single project. If you have your own IT person or another provider, we work alongside them.
Can you send someone at short notice?
Often, yes, depending on the job and location. Call us and we will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
How is it charged?
Short jobs are charged by the hour, longer projects are quoted up front. You see the cost before anyone starts, and pay, insurance and super are ours to handle.
Who looks after safety on site?
Both of us. Under work health and safety law, the business supplying the worker and the business hosting them each have duties, and they have to consult and work together. Before anyone starts we agree the site induction, access, hours and any hazards, and our engineers follow your site rules.
Are you a licensed labour hire provider in Queensland?
Yes. All labour hire providers supplying workers in Queensland must be licensed, and businesses must only engage licensed providers, with strong penalties for using one that is not. Real Bytes Pty Ltd holds licence LHL-06828-J3N3R, which you can check on the Queensland Government's public register of labour hire licences.
