Still running Windows 10? Year two costs double.

Microsoft's paid security updates keep old computers patched for up to three more years. Here is what that costs for your machines.

  1. Year 1A$87Oct 2025 to Oct 2026
  2. Year 2, nowA$173Oct 2026 to Oct 2027
  3. Year 3A$346Oct 2027 to Oct 2028

About, per device, ex GST. Microsoft sets the price in US dollars (US$61, doubling each year), so these are converted at about A$1.42 to US$1, the late October 2026 rate. Coverage is cumulative: join in a later year and you pay for the years you missed. Your quote comes in AUD.

And at the end of it, the computers still need replacing. Many newer PCs can move to Windows 11 at no cost, so we check each machine before you buy anything.

Where Australia is at

Most have moved. Almost one in five have not.

Almost a year after Windows 10 support ended, it still shows up on a big share of Australian desktops. Every one of those either costs money in paid updates or carries risk without them.

18.6%

of Windows desktop web traffic in Australia still came from Windows 10 in September 2026. Windows 11 was 80.5%.

Questions

What people ask before they call.

Do we have to buy hardware through you?

No. You can buy your own. Buying through us means the device is set up with your security and apps before it arrives, and we handle warranty claims for you.

Do you supply Mac as well as Windows?

Yes. We supply and set up Windows PCs, Macs, monitors, docks, printers and network gear, and manage mixed fleets.

What happens with Windows 10 computers?

Windows 10 support ended on 14 October 2025. Businesses can pay Microsoft for up to three years of security updates. In Australian dollars that is about A$87 per device for year one, doubling each year to about A$173 and then A$346, before GST. Coverage is cumulative, so joining in year two means paying for year one too: about A$260 per device to join now. For most businesses, upgrading or replacing those computers costs less.

Will our older computers run Windows 11?

Many will, at no cost, as long as the hardware meets Microsoft's requirements, including a supported processor and TPM 2.0. We check every machine and give you a list: upgrade, replace, or keep on paid updates for now, with the cost of each in Australian dollars.

Can you ship to staff in other cities?

Yes. Devices are set up remotely and shipped anywhere in Australia, so a staff member in Perth or Hobart gets the same ready-to-use device as one in Brisbane.

What happens to our old computers?

We securely wipe them and remove them, so client data does not leave the building on a second-hand laptop.
