Supplier & Partner Standards

Supplier & Partner Standards

Real Bytes Pty Ltd holds itself and its partners to the highest standards of ethical conduct, security, and social responsibility.

Our Commitment

At Real Bytes, we believe that responsible business extends beyond our own operations. The partners and suppliers we work with are a direct reflection of our values. This document sets out the minimum standards we expect of all entities in our supply chain and partner ecosystem, regardless of their size or location.

Standards We Expect

All suppliers and partners are expected to operate with integrity, honesty and transparency. We do not tolerate bribery, corruption, fraud or any form of unethical conduct. Partners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which they operate.
Partners handling Real Bytes client data (Customer Data) or accessing our systems must maintain appropriate information security controls aligned with ISO 27001 or equivalent frameworks. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, incident response procedures, regular security assessments, and the ability to return or securely delete Customer Data on termination of the engagement. Partners must notify Real Bytes promptly of any incident affecting Customer Data so we can meet our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
We expect all partners to respect the fundamental rights of their workers, including freedom from forced labour, child labour, and discrimination. Partners must comply with applicable employment laws, provide safe working conditions, and pay at least the legal minimum wage in their jurisdiction.
Partners are encouraged to minimise their environmental footprint through responsible resource consumption, waste reduction, and sustainable procurement. Real Bytes gives preference to suppliers who can demonstrate measurable environmental commitments and progress.
All partners must comply with applicable local, national and international laws and regulations, including those related to privacy, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export controls, and competition law. Partners are responsible for maintaining all required licences and certifications.
We expect our partners to extend these standards to their own supply chains. Partners should be able to provide reasonable assurance that their suppliers and subcontractors meet equivalent ethical, social and environmental standards.

Assessment & Review

Real Bytes conducts periodic reviews of our supplier and partner ecosystem to ensure ongoing compliance with these standards. We reserve the right to request evidence of compliance, conduct audits, and terminate engagements with partners who fail to meet these expectations.

These standards are reviewed annually and updated to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practice, and our evolving ESG commitments.

Pricing Transparency & Offboarding

Where Real Bytes incurs third-party fees on behalf of a client (licences, subscriptions, telecommunications, hardware or other minimum term commitments), those costs are passed through transparently and are recoverable if a client terminates early. Suppliers are expected to disclose minimum terms, early exit fees, and any minimum charges up front so clients can make informed decisions.

Suppliers handling client data must support a clean offboarding when an engagement ends, including export of Customer Data within a reasonable Offboarding Period and secure deletion afterwards.

Raise a Concern

If you have concerns about a supplier's or partner's conduct, or wish to report a potential breach of these standards, please contact us confidentially.
