Google Workspace
Google Workspace, set up properly and looked after.
Most Google Workspace accounts were set up in an afternoon and never touched again. Files are shared with anyone who has the link, former staff still have access, and nothing is backed up. We fix that, then look after it, so your team has one place to go when something goes wrong.
Fully supported, the same as Microsoft 365. On Microsoft 365 instead? We look after that too.

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
We support both, so here's the honest answer.
Four questions. We support both, so this is an honest answer, not a sales pitch.
Our view
Stay on Google Workspace
- Browser-first work suits Google Workspace well.
- Macs work with either. Neither has a big edge here.
- The difference is small, and moving costs time and money. Fix the setup you have.
The plans
Which Google Workspace plan.
From Google's Australian pricing page, checked 31 October 2026.
| Plan | Storage per user | Gemini |
|---|---|---|
| Business Starter | 30 GB | Included, limited |
| Business Standard | 2 TB | Included |
| Business Plus | 5 TB | Included |
Storage is pooled across the organisation. Business Plus adds stronger security and retention controls, which matter more as you grow.
How we actually do it
How we take it over.
- ReviewUsers, admins, sharing, security settings and licences.
- Fix the basics2-Step Verification, email records, sharing rules and backup.
- Move if neededFrom Microsoft 365 or another provider, out of hours.
- Look after itDay-to-day help, plus regular checks of settings and licences.
The rules that apply
Google's sender rules.
Google requires SPF, DKIM and DMARC for anyone sending bulk mail to Gmail, and authenticated mail delivers better for everyone. If your domain isn't set up, your invoices and quotes are more likely to land in spam.
When this is the wrong choice
When Google Workspace isn't the right fit.
- Desktop Office is non-negotiableComplex Excel models and Word templates usually sit better in Microsoft 365.
- Windows industry softwarePractice management or engineering apps built for Windows.
- You need Microsoft's device toolsIntune and Defender for a Windows fleet.
Mistakes we see
What we find in Google Workspace.
- Anyone-with-the-link sharingBusiness files open to whoever has the URL.
- Former staff still activeAccounts never suspended, files never handed over.
- No backupDeleted files gone after the retention window.
- Super admin without 2SVThe most powerful account, least protected.
- Gemini switched on for everyoneWithout rules on what it can use.
How we take it on
Four steps to looked after.
- Step 1Review
What's set up today.
- Step 2Secure
Sign-ins, email and sharing.
- Step 3Back up
A separate copy you control.
- Step 4Support

Questions
What people ask about Google Workspace.
Should we use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Both work well. Google suits teams who live in the browser and want simple sharing. Microsoft 365 suits businesses that rely on desktop Word and Excel or Windows industry software. We support both and will tell you honestly which fits.
How much of Google Workspace do you support?
All of it. The admin console, accounts, Gmail, Drive and shared drives, Calendar, Meet, devices, security settings and backup. It's full support through the same help desk our Microsoft 365 clients use.
Can you move us between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes, either way. Email, calendars, contacts and files are moved across, usually over a weekend, and checked before staff log in on Monday.
Does Google back up our data?
Google keeps the service running, but that isn't a backup you control. If a file is deleted and the retention window passes, it's gone. We add a separate backup.
Is Gemini included?
Google includes Gemini in its Business Starter, Standard and Plus plans, with a more limited version on Starter. We turn it on for the people who need it and set rules on what it can use.
How is it priced?
Google bills the licences. Our setup and migration work is quoted after a review, at our project rate of $195 an hour ex GST, and ongoing support is priced with your plan.
