Changing IT providers
Thinking of changing IT providers? The move should be the easy part.
Most businesses put off changing because they fear a messy handover: lost passwords, email going down, staff stuck on day one. We plan the move with you, deal with your old provider for you, and switch over with little for your staff to notice. If something breaks along the way, we own it until it is fixed. No lock-in contract, and we bill in arrears.
Is it time?
Signs your IT support is no longer working for you
You wait days for simple fixes
A password reset or a new starter takes longer than it should, and you chase every ticket.
Nobody can tell you what you have
Ask for a list of your devices, licences or admin logins and nothing clear comes back.
Your insurer asks questions you cannot answer
Renewal forms ask about sign-in checks and tested backups, and you are not sure what is true.
You only hear from them when something breaks
No regular check-in, no plan for next year, no one looking ahead.
Your bill keeps growing and you do not know why
Extra charges and licences you did not ask for, with no clear explanation.
The business has outgrown them
More staff, more sites or bigger clients, and the service has not kept up.
None of these mean your current provider is doing a bad job. Sometimes a clear list of what you have is all you need. Our first step gives you that either way.
How the move works
Five steps, and you know what happens at each one
- 01
We look at what you have
With your permission we look through your Microsoft 365, backups, devices and network without changing anything. You get a written list of what you have and what needs fixing. It is yours to keep, even if you stay where you are.
- 02
We plan the move with you
We write the plan, agree dates, and decide what your staff are told and when. You meet the engineers who will look after you before anything changes.
- 03
We deal with your old provider
We request the passwords, documents and account ownership in writing, move your Microsoft licences across through Microsoft's standard transfer, and take a full backup before we touch anything.
- 04
We switch over
Usually outside business hours. Staff may need to sign in again and will see a new support contact. Engineers are on hand for the first days to fix anything that comes up.
- 05
We make sure it sticks
In the first month we test a backup restore, close the urgent gaps from step one, and sit down with you to agree what comes next.
What you end up with
Your systems, in your name, written down
When the move is done you hold the keys, not us. If you ever want to leave us, you can take all of this with you.
On contracts: we have no lock-in and bill in arrears. Read your current agreement for its notice period first. Hardware finance, phone and internet contracts usually stay with you whoever looks after them. If the wording is unclear, a short check with a lawyer before giving notice is worth it.
- Every admin login for Microsoft 365, your domain, firewall and key software, held in your name
- A list of your staff accounts, devices and licences, with who pays for what
- A simple map of your network and where your data lives
- Proof that your backup restores, from a real test
- A written list of security gaps, what we fixed and what is still open

Start with a clear picture of what you have
Talk to a senior engineer. We will tell you plainly whether a move makes sense, or whether a few fixes with your current provider would do. Same service wherever you are in Australia.
