Website management
A website nobody looks after is a website waiting to break.
The site was built years ago, the developer moved on, and nobody's sure who has the logins or when the domain renews. Updates pile up until something breaks or someone breaks in. We host it in Australia with daily backups and proper security. On fully managed, we also keep it updated, watch it, and fix it when something goes wrong.
From $100 a month ex GST. Billed in arrears.
- Daily backups
- Wordfence Premium
- Free move to our hosting

Where you stand
0of 8 signs in place
8 gaps to close.
- WordPress, plugins and themes up to dateMost break-ins use a known flaw in an old plugin.
- Unused plugins and themes removedAn inactive plugin can still be exploited.
- Off-site backups, restore testedA backup on the same server goes down with it.
- Domain in the business's name, on auto-renewA lapsed domain takes the site and email with it.
- You know who controls DNSDNS controls your website and email.
- Admin logins named, with MFAStolen admin logins are the other common way in.
- A security plugin or firewall in placeIt buys time between a flaw going public and the patch.
- Someone is alerted when it goes downCustomers shouldn't be the ones who tell you.
What it costs
Three plans.
Per site, per month, ex GST. Billed in arrears. Yearly costs like domain renewals and Wordfence are spread into the monthly price.
| Plan | Price | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Hosting and security | $100 | Australian hosting, daily backups, SSL, Wordfence Premium, SMTP email delivery, Managed DMARC and domain renewal. Changes billed at $165 an hour ex GST. |
| Fully managed | $200 | Everything above, plus updates, monitoring and support. If something breaks, we own it. |
| Full service | $500 | Fully managed, plus basic SEO and one batch of content updates a month that you send us. |
We move your existing site onto our hosting at no cost, as long as the current provider gives us reasonable access. Full overhauls, redesigns, new features, copywriting and paid ads are quoted separately.
Why it matters
Out-of-date plugins are the usual way in.
Patchstack recorded 11,334 new security flaws across the WordPress ecosystem in 2025, up 42% on the year before. 91% were in plugins and 9% in themes. WordPress itself had only a handful.
46% weren't fixed by the time they were made public. That's why updates alone aren't enough: a security plugin or firewall covers the gap, and removing plugins you don't need closes it for good.
When this is the wrong choice
When we're not the right fit.
- A hosted website builderIf your site runs on a builder platform, the platform does most of this already.
- A complex custom appThat needs its developer on support, not a maintenance plan.
- A full redesignStart with a designer. We'll look after it once it's live.
Mistakes we see
What we find when we take a site over.
- Domain in the developer's nameThe business doesn't own its own address.
- Dozens of unused pluginsEach one another way in.
- Backups on the same serverGone when the server is.
- A shared admin loginUsed by everyone who's ever touched the site.
- Updates switched offBecause one broke the site once.
How we take it on
From your site to ours, without the downtime.
- Step 1Check
What state the site is in.
- Step 2Move
To Australian hosting, tested first.
- Step 3Secure
Updates, admins, firewall and backups.
- Step 4Look after
Monitored and kept current.
- Step 5Report
Anything you need to know.

Questions
What people ask about website management.
Can you take over our existing website?
Yes. We move it onto our Australian hosting at no cost, as long as your current provider gives us reasonable access. Nothing is switched off until the new setup is ready. Getting access released by the old provider can take a few weeks, often four to eight, so we start that early.
Do you build websites?
Our focus is keeping websites secure, updated and running. For a new design, we work alongside your designer or can point you to one we trust.
What platforms do you look after?
Mostly WordPress, plus simpler static sites. If yours runs on something else, ask and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
What happens if our site is hacked?
We take it offline if needed, clean it or restore it from a backup, close the hole that let them in, and tell you what happened.
How much does it cost?
Hosting and security is $100 a month ex GST, with changes billed at $165 an hour ex GST when you need one. Fully managed is $200 a month. Full service, which adds basic SEO and a monthly content update, is $500 a month. Billed monthly in arrears, with yearly costs like domain renewals and Wordfence spread into the monthly price.
What's in the $100 hosting and security plan?
Australian hosting with daily backups and SSL, Wordfence Premium security, an SMTP email delivery service so your contact form emails arrive, Managed DMARC so nobody can send email pretending to be you, and your domain renewal. It doesn't include changes, updates or monitoring. That's fully managed.
